Inclement Weather Policy
We play soccer in the rain. We don't play during thunderstorms. In the unlikely event that house games are canceled, they will be canceled by the referees at the field at game time. Please don't call/email your individual coaches asking whether or not the game is canceled. You need to show up at the complex ready to play, chances are the game is on. Thanks.

Equipment for House League soccer
All players need to have cleats (or sneakers), shin guards, and a ball. BSC supplies the uniform T-shirt.
Sneakers or Cleats? Sneakers are generally fine for players in the Under 6 (U6) age group. The advantage of soccer cleats is that they help players to maintain stability when running and attempting to maneuver on a soft or damp field.
Soccer Balls: Soccer balls come in different sizes: Under 6s and 8s use a size 3 ball. Under 10s, 12s and U14s use a size 4 ball. Under 15s use a size 5 ball. Sewn-seam balls are typically of higher quality and will last longer. It's also good to invest in a small hand-held pump to keep your player’s ball properly inflated.
Shin Guards: Players must have shin guards or they will not be allowed to play or practice. Absolutely no exceptions! Shin guards are to be worn inside your player’s soccer socks. Remember, this rule is for the safety of your player.
Shorts: All players should wear black shorts for games.
Socks: navy or black soccer socks are preferred.
