The Wizards tied 0-0 with Saratoga Freedom and defeated Clifton Park Blasters 3-0, Williamstown Purple Lightning 6-1, and in a very close match defeated Latham Circle Blue with a score of 3-2 to clench first place.

Lauren Paravella scored three unassisted goals against Clifton Park. Lindsey Dreher scored the winning goal in the Latham Circle game receiving an awesome pass from Colleen McDonnell. The other goals against Latham Circle were scored by Kayla Doody and Colleen McDonnell with support from Heather Moss.
Sydney Moss, Kayla Doody and Hanna Field played tough in the Midfield preventing any player from getting through and when a player did get through Isabelle Uccellini and Lindsey Watkins would defend and prevent any shots. Talented Goal Keepers Kathryn Stackrow, Lauren Paravella, Louise Metz, and Colleen McDonnell only allowed 3 goals in all four games.
We had a great time at the speed shot contest and eating ice cream while celebrating our victories through hot and humid conditions. This team played tough, with amazing effort, and truly showed their love of soccer. Watch for their continued success!
